Like a few people here, I built a custom 12ga. wiring harness (as per Daniel Stern's diagram), bought some relays, and some Hella H1's and H4's. I was so pleased with the results, I made another harness with a relay for my fog lights mounted in the spoiler. But I have have lost the function on the fogs going off when the high beams are flashed, and coming back on when the highs go off. Now if I have the fogs on and turn on the high beams, the fogs stay on. The high beams will only turn off if I turn the fogs off first. With the fogs off, highs turn off and on like they should. Do I need another relay or some wires somewhere? Maybe some connection between the highs and fogs is needed. I have pondered the weak Haynes wiring diagram, but it makes me cross-eyed.
Hopefully someone out there knows the answer to this.
