Fiannly a big volvo event outside CA !!! I guess it is that time again. Being 20 years I guess it will be big. Has anybody ever gone to any of these events? I am sure they are alot of fun. Being from NJ I am thinking of going. Wonder how well my 89 245 will do in the dirt?

VCOA returns to its roots for its 20th anniversary national meet - the site of its first national meet - Mount Snow, Vermont. We will be staying at the Grand Summit Resort Hotel, a full-service facility, offering a wide range of amenities for the entire family, just in time to enjoy the last remaining days of autumn foliage in the region. In addition, our meet will coincide with Mount Snow's annual Octoberfest and craft days celebrations.

The full weekend registration package includes a Friday evening welcome reception, Saturday car show - with Peoples Choice judging for all classes of new and old Volvos - a swap meet, technical sessions, lunch, and banquet dinner. Also included are a Sunday brunch and a "down-in-the-dirt" autocross event. The resort offers free, regularly scheduled shuttle buses into town for those who would rather enjoy the craft show, shopping, and Octoberfest activities.

The registration fee for the full weekend package is $95 per adult. For those that only wish to attend for Saturday's activities, the price is $65 per adult, which includes all meals and tech sessions and the car show event. Events only participation - no meals - will cost $25, allowing you to attend all tech sessions and receive a goodie bag. The fees for children age 5 to 10 is $30 for the full weekend, and for children under the age of 5, there is no fee. Anyone over the age of 12 must register as an adult.

A $25-per-person late fee will be charged on meet registrations received after "September 10th". After "September 10th", you will only be able to register at the door at the cost of $190 per person for the full weekend package. Saturday only admission at the door after September 10th will be available at a cost of $130. The events only fee remains at $25.

Lodging at the Grand Summit Resort is $99 per night for a standard room with two queen-size beds or a studio with one full Murphy bed, pull-out couch, and kitchen facilities. One-bedroom suites are available at $149 per night. For the budget-minded, rooms are available at the rustic (emphasis on "rustic") Snow Lake Lodge for $49 per night. Other room types and condos are available upon request with the Grand Summit Resort, but you must make your room reservations by August 10th. These prices are available for three days before and three days following the meet for attendees that would like to make this an extended stay.
