Wow I never though I'd say...Bilsteins too stiff...Konis??? 200

Hey all,
Subject basically says it all. I've had the Bilstein HDs for about 4 months and
I love the handling and response but I think they are too stiff for my needs, and recently have considered switching to a softer strut/shock. The car is my daily driver and when driving into Boston and around the city the ride is extremely rough and I really feel every bump, divit, bridge gap, and construction mess. Yesterday almost sealed the deal while in town, and thought I was going to blow out my front suspension. I haven't decided that I'm going to switch yet and will reduce my tire pressure to 30-32, and look into new tires. I'd like someday to add sport springs and maybe some 17s, and know that with the Bilsteins I'm looking at an even harsher ride especially in New England. How are the Koni Sport or Koni Specials? Has anyone had experience with them and ease of installation?? I've heard that the Koni Sports are "softer" than the Bilsteins and I guess I'm looking for a combo of performance handling with comfort (if I decide to switch). Suggestions? I know the Bilsteins can be revalved, but @50 bucks a piece I feel it's not worth it. Many thanks!
