I thought I was being nice washing my parents car for them while they're away, using it occasionally to keep things moving, but after I washed it the cooling fan stuck on. I washed it at one of those do-it-yourself places and sprayed the underbody as well as the exterior, I didn't spray into the engine compartment, but did spray under the front bumper. I had to unplug the center sensor in the condensor to shut the fan off, or the line-in on the relay. I can't see any water in the connectors or the switch. Is it just a coincidence, did the switch go bad at the same time? Is this a common problem?
If anybody's had a simular problem I'd appreciate any ideas.
