Uh. Timing cover and oil pan gasket replacement. 700

I have a 1989 764 GLE. It has an automatic transmission and a B280F (That's a late V6 PRV to everyone).

Engine surges. Says this is simple and likely an oxygen sensor. I have receipts from the previous owner from a Chevy place. They replaced the AMM and fuel pump. I've replaced the fuel pump with a Bosch, and the FPR. I've checked the IAM and cleaned the throttle body with a toothbrush. Something tells me that's not all that's wrong with it, lest the Chevy dealer replace it... New O2 sensor? $150.

There's also a thousand dollar oil problem. I've basically made up my mind that I'm not going to bother with this and sell it for parts, fix'er-up, demolition durby, artificial coral reef, whatever. I'm going to see if I have a recept for an oxy sensor, then call him back to replace it.

Number one, should I get the oxy sensor replaced? Number two, how much should I sell her for?
