sunroof pan out - how do I release the headliner tray from the rails 700

I am in the process of repairing my sunroof and replacing the headliner. I have removed the sunroof pan from the car. The headliner tray has four tabs that keep it in the rails. How do I get the headliner tray out? I can slide it backwords and forwards.
Many projects on the 740...
