'82 244 vs '86 and '87 200

What are the similarities in these model years. I may get an '82 244 (B21). Are the rear brake calipers, master cylinder, and struts the same as the 86 and 87?
Also feel free to let me know your general opinions on the early and late 80's 240 series.
This will be an extra vehicle - may be parts maybe a future daily for my son (depends on condition)
