The Saga Continues...Pulling the drivetrain 200 1983

Okay, while waiting for my parts to arrive from fcpGroton, I started pulling the drivetrain from my car. Car is on ramps with jackstands in the rear, I can use my creeper. Radiator, cowl, AMM, alternator, air box and tube all came out. Underneath, I unhooked the driveshaft from the rear of the tranny, unhooked speedo cable, unhooked shift linkage. Broke loose the tranny crossmember bolts.

Trouble spots are:
1. Can't get the tranny dipstick loose from the pan. I was thinking it would come out still attached to the drivetrain, then I could get to it better out of the car.
2. Is that the OD wire I feel running across the top of the tranny? Where is the plug to disconnect?
3. Tomorrow I will try to loosen the engine mount bolts. And #1 and 2 above.

I am taking pics and will try to put up a site to track the progress in the near future.
