Just been informed by my mechanic that I'll need 1,000+ in repairs(timing belt, water pump, brakes/rotors, engine mount). In subtle garage terms, he hinted I should give up on the car. I kinda don't want to because I really really really like the car and it rides great still(170miles). Anybody out there with some real life experience and advice?
