Poor Mileage 200 1986

I am new to the Volvo driving experience. Have a 240 w/214k running great still all original. New clutch works @200k this spring the mileag is bad had been getting 30-33 mpg. last two tank full doing 25-20 mpg put in can of 44k injector cleaner. No help also seems to be having trouble idling, will plugs-points solve the problem or is it deeper
