Brake moaning? 700

I have recently been getting a moaning noise out of my brakes after I drive around for a while. I've owned a few 240's and have become pretty accustomed to squeaking/squealing brakes but this sound is lower, like bicycle brakes when they are wet. I have recipts for brake pads being installed just before I bought the car 3-4k mi. ago. I also have no loss of braking power or noise other than the moaning. I think it is coming from the rear brakes because I only hear it during the last few feet before a stop, when more pressure is applied. Also the other day when I was parking in front of my house the abs pulsed during a very slow speed stop??? Any idea what my problem could be? Maybe my brake pads are glazed over since I usually drive like an old lady? Any input is appreciated. TIA
