Brake update... 140-160 1968

Hey guys, hows it going?
I looked at your post on my earlier threads... Lots of good information! Thanks a lot. Anyway, I put new Bendix pads on the front from my local Knechts store. When I looked at the rear brakes, the right rear is basically frozen and there aren't any seals around the pistons... so the pads on that side don't need to be replaced. On the left side, one pad was thinner than the other but still at about 50% so I just swapped it with the other pad. Girling calipers all around if you didn't already know.
SO, at the Knechts and Autozone store, they sell rear calipers for only $39 plus core. And they aren't poor quality either. I will go and find out how much rotors and calipers from a late model 164 sometime because that seems like a great upgrade for the front. And then I will look at the prices for calipers from a 240. What year/model of 240 should I get calipers from???
Stainless steel braided brake lines... Anybody have them? I don't see why I can't just go get some custom length ones and install them. Also, 140s have those two cylinder thingys right before the rear axle so that it distributes more pressure to the fronts to avoid rear lockup. Has anyone bypassed these and just used an adjustable brake balance thingy in the cockpit?

As always, any help/info welcome,
Thanks alot,
Kyle
