Rough idle.What next? 200

83 240 Wagon. Rough idle was greatly improved when I cleaned rotor and distributon cap last weekend.Because the cap was old and a bit pitted on the contacts I decided to replace both cap and rotor expecting to resolve the problem. Now its back to square one-rough idle ,poor acceleration up to 2000rpm then kicks in and runs smooth.Leads and plugs seem ok.What would you check next? Thanks.
