question about AC retrofit 200 1988

Hello all
I have been reading up on the 12 to 134A retrofit in the forum, but one point seems to elude (SP) me. I am not replacing the compressor but I will be draining the oil. The documentation I have found says that if replacing compressor do "NOT" put oil in the dryer. Replace is different than Remove and Replace right? And if I do need oil in dryer, How much? Much thanks in advance.
