I got my 87 244 for myself for my sixteenth birthday back in November. I payed 800 dollars and it has 260000 miles. I drove it to my house, nearly 3 hours away from where it was baught and it has been sitting for the most part since. I start it a few times a week and drive it around the block. It has always driven wonderfully. Today however, I started it up ran it and decided I would go for a little drive, about half way there the oil light came on. I think it is a bad sign. I have started it up about 5 times since and each time the oil light comes on. I checked the oil and it is almost topped out. The oil looks a little dirty could this be the cause or is there a disasterous problem waiting to be discovered with my brick. I havent let it run with the light on over a minute or so, but I cant help but notice that it feels the same way it always did. Im hopeing the light it just messed up. If any of you guys know what might be wrong I would love to hear from you. Im at a loss.
