DAS messed up my Classic 240 200 1993

Hello everybody,
This is my first posting to this list. I recently bought a 1993 240 Classic wagon with 97,000 miles on ebay. I had DAS ship it from Pa. to Arizona. When it arrived, there was a huge(1 foot by 1 foot) scrape/dent on the hood and right fender. I haven't seen the car yet as I live in Japan and won't come home until April. It's at my friend's house. What happened was when they were loading another car on the carrier, a hydraulic ramp dropped on to the hood. DOH!! They said this hardly ever happens. My question is: what should I expect from them for reimbursement? I need a new hood and fender. I found a hood on a website for $200 and a fender for $140. I would think they would give me well over $1000. Is it a big job to change the fender? Thanks for any info on the costs and the difficulty of replacing the fender.
