B230 in 940 GLE to replace B234F? 900 1992

940 GLE 50K miles 1992 (Canada, US only 1991).

Last year I had the famous oil pump pulley bolt break in my B234F. After a few thousand bucks, I am happy with the repair.

This year I plan on replacing the bolt again (20K after), just because it only costs 5$ and saves me the worry.... I read about plastic tensioner gear too now and am getting shills down my back.

Though the car is beautiful and drives great (low mileage garage kept), in the case that the worst ever happens again I am wondering if I can replace the B234F with a used B230F?
How swappable is the engine, in terms of engine management i.e. wiring harness & sensors, etc... and all the auxillary stuff? Which B230 year would I have to go after? LH2.4, post 1992?

I am figuring that swapping out the head is likely not as simple as swapping out the entire engine...

I am asking this on the basis that if a swap cannot EASILY be done, I might consider putting the car up for sale for exchange with a B230 car. Can't go through that big $$$ again...
Performance is not an issue with my wife.

Advice?

Thanks,
Greg Koulisakis
