1984 B23F (automatic) won't start: Randy Taylor Please help 200

I found this in the archives. It is the exact same problem that I have with my 1983 242 turbo B21ft. If you are out there Randy and you were able to fix your brick please help me.

NEED ADVICE ON SUBJECT CAR. RAN CAR TUESDAY AND NOTICED IT BEGAN TO INTERMITENTLY HESITATE, LIKE IT WOULD QUIT, UPON MILD ACCELERATION. OTHERWISE NO PROBLEMS. CAR WOULD NOT START WED. MORN. TURNS OVER BUT DOESN'T SEEM TO HIT SOLIDLY AT ALL. I BELIEVE I'VE CONFIRMED COIL, DISTRIBUTOR, ALL READINGS FROM CONTROL UNIT CONNECTOR. FUEL PUMPS RUN BUT NOT VERIFIED PRESSURE. HALF TANK GAS. TIMING BELT OK."
