Hello, about a month ago, I purchased a 91 740 turbo. Everything was running fine, a couple of days ago, it started stalling out, and now won't do anything by stay in idle (barely). As soon as it is put in gear (automatic) engine dies. Mechanic suggested air mass meter. This car has a lot of corrosion from salt air. An earlier posting suggested the terminals could be corroded. Does this sound like an air mass meter problem? I tried to disconnect it and use the "limp home" mode, but still no luck...Thanks for your help
