745 B230FT - wires connected to injectors-HELP! 700 1986

I just bought a somewhat abused 1986 745 turbo wagon (cheap) and am in the process of fixing major wiring problems. The insulation on the wires coming off the injectors are torn right at the top of the plug and some bare wires are showing. Does anyone have a clue where I could find these wires and also know how to replace them? Would electrical tape do until I can replace them? Also, does anyone know of problem areas for oil leaks on the intake manifold side of the engine? Thanks - Tim (91' 240GL(360,000!), 83' 240DL(370,000!), and the newest edition 86' 745 turbo(333,000).
