.....the fuel distributor (and air flow flap assembly) be removed without removing the intake manifold?
I've got the entire assembly separated from its mount on the side of the block and need to remove a couple more fuel lines and it seems like I should be able to twist it around and lift it up out of there. I would first try to remove the fuel inlet and return line up at the filter on the firewall and snake them out with the unit since it seems like those may be a bear to get to.
If someone knows for a fact that it can be done that would be great, and, if someone knows for a fact that it cannot, than that would save me the time of removing several fuel lines that look like they would be easier to get to if the intake was out of the way.
Anyway, anyone who has done this or have any experience in this area than I would appreciate any information that you may have especcially if it is first-hand
BTW the car is aa '81 240DL (none Turbo) (CIS injection).
Please help a poor (too poor to pay someone to do this) old (too old to be doing this) man.
Thanks
Rick B.
