Fuel pump question 700

I have a question for those of you who have played with different fuel pump combos: As part of a conversion project (Regina->Bosch, on a 1990 740) we have gone ahead and added the Bosch main pump and filter (in its location under car around the driver's seat location), and it was actually fairly easy since the car was prewired for the pump after all! The Regina just did not utilize a pump there... We have the Bosch-intank pump, but I have heard that the Regina in tank is about 10X stronger than the bosch in tank.

Here is the proposed question: Any thoughts on if we will have trouble if we run the Bosch main pump, in conjunction with the regina in-tank? I would think any over-supply would simply return to the tank, right? Any safety issues in having that amount of volume returning in that fasion? Any differences in the sender units?

Thanks!

PS: I posted this question as part of another post, but though I should probably break it out by itself just in case.
