1992 960 timing belt gone, valve damage, replace/ rebuild? 900 1992

My '92 960 timing belt snapped (130kmi 2nd belt) had a local mechanic send out the head, had problems with Cam timing, has it all together and now cylinder #6 has no compression. My regular mechanic Volvo Cert. is too busy to take it on.
thinking of 1) local dealer 2) dreaming of a V8 3) trying another local mechanic. 4) getting a quote from a National engine rebuilder. Any advice or insight on what I should do? Located north of Boston, MA
