Winshield questions?? 200 1986

It's time for a new windshield and my trim ring is toast so i am considering replacing with a 91' -93'. Does anybody have a photo of their Brick with this update? Sure would be nice to see what it looks like with out the trim. There is a rubber seal between the dash and winshield.... what is this for and is it needed for the update? Looking kinda old. Does anybody know of a good glass shop in Ventura,CA?? Thanks to all!
