How much should one expect to pay for... 700 1987

a cylinder head with all the trimmings? There's one on e-bay and it's the same year/model/style as my car. It's up for re-bid since it didn't meet the reserve the first time around. Anyway, it's just what I need since the mechanic told me that to get my warped one all fixed up would cost around $400.

Now, I was planning on having work done on it at the same time (valve job, porting, polishing, etc.) so I was expecting to pay a little more. But I'm wondering if it would be worth it to get a second head that is (claimed) in good shape and just slap it on to get the car running and save a little more money and get the other head worked on later.

What do you pay for a head from the junkyards around you? I haven't gone to ask any yet as most near me aren't open on weekends, and I've been pretty busy at work lately.
