240 transmission mounts 200

I started replacing the manual transmission mount on my 1983 244GLT. Thought it would be a simple project but I'm having trouble getting a wrench on the nut "inside" the rear crossmember. The access hole in the crossmember and the centerline of the trans mount bolt do not align. So I can't fit a standard socket and extension on the nut. A deep socket won't clear the side of the access hole. I have some offset box wrenches, but the offset isn't large enough to reach the nut. Any suggestions on what kind of tool to use? Thanks...
