RE: sudden death - brain dead? YES!!!! 200 85

Hi Guys,

Kinda shamed to admit this one, but it caught Dad too, and it goes to show what you can overlook. A good demo of the Duh! factor in operation.

The car died, no spark at plug wires, nor at coil. Started setting up for a test of the Hall effect sensor by popping the distributor cap and cranking the engine to #1TDC.

Couldn't help but notice that the rotor wasn't moving.

Broken Timing belt.

Duh.

Thanks anyway,

Bob.
