Tail gate washer nozzle replacement-HOW? 900 1991

I found out my washer nozzle on the tailgate of my 945T wasn't right when I tried to wash the rear window and squirted one of the kids standing nearby. (He could bathe more often so no harm done). In any event I bought a new nozzle and now realize that I have no idea how to get the old one off or the new one on. I tried pulling out the old one but either you have to pull really hard or I am about to break something and really screw things up. Any help would be appreciated.
