First off, let me thank everybody for the tremendous response to my post about switching to VW, I have decided to keep my Volvo after all. But now I have a problem. When I first got the car it would suddenly die out maybe once a month and start right back up again. Well the situation got worse and it started happening rather frequently until just the other day when I pulled into the parking lot, it just died out for good. I've checked for spark, and I have that. Is there any way to check the fuel pump without removing it? I hope that this is a common problem that can be fixed easily. The car is quite a bit away from my house, and its starting to snow often, so major work kinda hurts. I am also limited in the tool selection..any help would be greatly appreciated.
