brake junction replacement 200 1982

The pedal goes most of the way to the floor. One portion of the reservoir is empty. Looked down at the junction, extremely clean and sparkly.

Other than spraying it down _real_ good with pb blaster, three questions:

1) how much DOT-4 does the whole system take? About 2 quarts? I don't want too much brake fluid sitting around.

2) when I get the replacement at the junker, should I also get a new switch? You know the one that plugs into the junction.

3) is there any additional hardware, i.e. crush washers, et cetera to obtain before i rip out the old junction?

Thanks - getting my car ready for a winter in Tahoe.

Colin
