Overdrive M46 200 1982

Last week I had the trans out for a flywheel change, now that it's back the OD has stopped working. I inspected, replaced and repaired all the wires from the gearshift area down. One oilsoaked wire, the rest intact. Previous to the trans removal the car did experience some intermittant (unwanted) shifts into overdrive. I chalked this up to a bad wire somewhere, which I thought I would have fixed with the wire inspection. I have a spare (working) OD relay which I replaced, I have checked the fuse (in the kick panel, driver side), and checked trans fluid level. None of these appear to be the cause. Is there another fuse somewhere? Another relay? The OD button appears to work, I even tried to engage the OD using just the wires contacting one another to double check the button. Nothing. Any ideas? Thanks.
