replacing Kjet wiring harness 200 84

How hard is it to rebuild the wiring harness on Kjets? Has anybody done this. I don't really want to shell out the money for a new harness if its not to hard to rebuild the old one. Can the fuel injection connectors be reused or do you have to get new ones? From what I can see the wire only deteriorates where it is directly exposed in the engine compartment. The wire covered by the plastic sheathing looks ok from what I can see. Is that true or is the wire in the sheathing just as rotten?
