Found CPS to cable 10mm bolt!!! Chiltons wrong 700 1990

Found CPS, black cable no yellow or white, looked orig. to me,looked dirty, wiped off same hard start, replace? codes in prev. msg. from me. Any hints very appreciated!!! Thanks
