O2 Sensor 200 87

Bought aftermarket 3 wire O2 sensor to replace Bosch unit. Hooked up the green wire no problem. Now have two white wires from wiring harness and two white wires on the sensor and therefore a 50/50 chance of wiring it right. Still have the defective sensor, but the wires are too cleanly clipped to backtrack to their original counterpart on the wiring harness. Any suggestions?
