Ok,
I am ready to just spend money on the tools needed to replace the rear suspensions in all of my cars.
The 86 is lose and clunky, and my 91 is going to need them regardless.
So, I'm curious if any of you have fabricated your own trailing arm bushing removal devices. I would like to save some money if its possible to not buy the Volvo tool.
At 20 dollars/pressing at the local shop, I think I'm just going to buy a press from Northern tools or Harbor Freight..
Someone recommended a 12 ton press, but would a 6 ton press get the bushings out of the torque rods??
Thanks for any advice. I know I bother you guys a lot, but this is the coolest place on the net :)
Where the answer to every car problem isn't "Buy a new car"
Later,
Luke
