B21 or B230F in '82 240 200 **

I'm looking at an '82 240 that is being rebuilt. It's at the point where I can use the existing B21 engine or upgrade to a B230.

It'll cost another $500-600 to do the conversion. Will I gain any great advantage with the newer motor or should I save the cash and take the car on more road trips?
