Buying a used roofrack for a 745GL 700 89

I'm looking for roofrack for my '89 740 wagon and was hoping to get something used... but I have no idea what I need (what components, their measurements, etc)... I'm looking to get a used Thule, but I just don't feel like paying the high price that a new one will run.

Suggestions?
