put 740 seats in 240? 200 84.5

Hey all,

Since my black leather seats are shot to hell, I went wandering around a junk yard recently and found a red leather 740 interior that was really in superior shape. I've got a 242 ti and am wondering if I could get the front and rear seats into my 242, has anyone tried this? Please let me know. I figure I can have a buddy of mine weld mounting brackets for the bottoms of the new seats, these brackets would mount as typical 240 seats mount but would have bolts to recieve the 740 seats; sound workable?
