Stalling when foot is off the accelerator 900 1991

My 1991 940turbo had been stalling when I stop and I remove my foot from the accelerator. So to avoid this, I have been driving with my left foot on the brake and my right foot on the accelerator to increase the rpm. I read S. Ringlee's FAQ's but I couldn't seem to find an answer to this symptom. My FI relay is new, spark plugs are new, belts are new. There is very noticeable drop in rpm before the engine stalls. I have no problem restarting the car. What else could I do? Thank you.

Penny
