power window quirks 200 1990

With the onset of colder weather, the power windows, wich have worked flawlessly all summer have gone bonky again.

When the car is stone cold, the windows work fine. If I drive for a while with the heater blowing as well as it can, the windows stop working. I can do two things. If I turn the temperature down, the windows start working again after five minutes or so. If I continue to blast (?) the heat, the windows will wake up again. I had thought that this was related to some temperature differential somewhere, but I believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny too.

Where are those relays for the windows, anyway? On top of the gas tank, or inside the left rear door panel?
