High idle persists 700 87

1987 740 200,000 miles

Been working on this problem forever....a recap...high idle, about 1500rpms...changed idle motor...all hoses ok...TB cleaned and gasket replaced...NOW, new info... the weather has gotten much colder here in the Northeast, now the idle (at start) is nice...about 1000...then, as the driving time increases and the engine warms up...the high idle returns...So, does this help in a diagnosis? Alan
