IPD Lower Chassis Brace 700 1990

Some questions about the IPD "Lower Chassis Brace". This item appears on page 9 of the newest IPD catalog (IPD p/n = CQ6694)

1) Has anyone out there installed this item? How tough/easy is the actual installation? Can it be done with ramps/jackstands, or is a lift necessary?

Is any cutting/drilling/hacking needed..or it is really a "bolt-on"?

2) Can anyone comment on the benefits of adding this item to a USA-version

non-turbo 745 wagon? Is there a perceptable difference that would make me willing to spend the $$ ?

3) Is this part available directly from Volvo? Anybody happen to know

the Volvo part number? Price?
