Review of Hikari 2025 LED

I ordered the Hikari 2025 Amazon branded LED that claims 45 watts/lamp
or 90 watts per set.
On arrival I tested and found 21 and 23 watts for the two lamps
The current for high and low beam segments is identical.
The values change as the lamps heat up and stabilize after
about a minute.
Using 12A analog power supply set to 14.0 VDC
lamp 1 Low = 1.55A High = 1.55A
lAMP 2 low = 1.70A High = 1.65A

I tried connecting high and low beams at the same time and the current
draw was unchanged.

Thes LEDs looked identical to the Hikari 2022 that I use and like here.
they have only "9003 DOT" stamped on them

I sent them back for not meeting their sales specs.

Don't have faith in LED sales specs.
There are worse than Hikari salemen, a few claiming 1,000,000 Amps
for LED headlights. Try running them with your 100-200 amp alternator!

Good luck, Bill

It was an adventure posting this with Brickboard not behaving normally.
Using Mozilla based Palemoon running under Linux, which I like much
better than than new industrial internet access appliance "Firefox" which is a major disappointment. It is possible that I have a corrupted version.
It's also possible that they're all corrupt.
