Hi Brickboard members,
I was able to sign on yesterday and make a post but the site died right after that.
I have been in touch with Bill by private email and he wanted me to post this.

To the best of my knowledge he was really informative on the newer than 240 cars.
He had been fighting of a blood disorder since the Christmas before last.
He was bad of and then got into some good doctors and was feeling better considering he wasn’t expected to last past the Christmas before.
Sounded like he found some good doctors with even better manuals to refer too.
He sure gave it a terrific fight and was even able to make a few posts this year.
He asked not to hear any pity thoughts so he kept that to a minimum.
I will and should say thanks to all of you for thinking of him anyway.
I want to especially give a thanks to Bill for telling me to do a post if I was able too.
I have always been too mechanical and probably have not survived as nicely as other humans on this planet. But inevitable things do change with age.
I wish we all had known him or all of you better but it’s the way of forums I guess.
I think Bill has the right idea to becoming more open to side conversations, if the board dies.
There is a lot of our souls tied up in the archives of the Brickboard to end up in the, or a, WayBack machine.
I know caution is always going to be in the wind nowadays.
It’s our newer times and they are passing faster the older I get. 🤭
Or it just seems that way as the clocks still count in the same intervals but the glances must be farther apart?
Now to see if a “new thread” will post. I have not done many!
Phil
