Getting rid of that Old Car Smell

Has anyone found a good solution to getting rid of the "old car smell" that these can wind up with? Both my 1990 cars had a bit of the smell, but this one that has been sitting for a looooong time smells enough that it's bothering me. It kind of stinks when I get in it and I think sometimes I can smell it on me after I get out of the car.

So... where is it coming from? What is the fix? I've been spraying Ozium into the car once in a while for months or weeks and it just isn't resolving. I have a bad feeling that it's coming from inside the AC system or somewhere unreachable.

It isn't a specific bad smell like skunk or cigarettes or anything, it just smells like an old car that has sat for a long time. I've only driven it like 20 miles in the last week or so, but the smell is bothering me. I can dump baking soda in it, I can take the carpets out and wash them, I can ... spray something into the vents? but I don't know if the "old funk" is something I can do anything about.

Anyone have suggestions?

Cheers!
Will
