Transmission Fluid for 1993 Volvo 940 and 240 Question

The Owner's Manual for both a 1993 Volvo 940 and 240 recommends the use of either Dexron IId or Dexron IIe for automatic transmission fluid replacement. Would it be oaky to use Dexron III? I purchased Super Tech ATF Dexron III from Walmart several years ago and have it on hand. I am not sure if they still make Dexron III. Are there any other recommendations?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
