A/C Delete Bracket - Usefull ? 200

Have a 93 - 240, B230. A/C is non functional and I don't plan to fix it - have heard it'll still be a yearly headache.

IPD sells a A/C delete bracket (169$) to remove the compressor pulley and drag from the belt drive.

Is this worthwhile? Or just wait till it causes a problem.
