Intermittent gas gauges fixed

We had three 7/940 cars in the family that all had intermittent gas gauges. They had become infrequent enough that we kept track of fill ups with paper and pencil.

I figured it was a cracked solder joint that was the cause but which ones? Those clusters have a lot of choices and I wasn't anxious to take a hot iron to all of them.

Enter a post on turbobricks from Matt. His post includes the likely culprits. As it turns out all three cars now have full time working fuel gauges.

Cluster removal is not difficult and the wiring connectors are all different so no chance of mixing them up and frying anything.
