240 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEADER PIPE - PAINT IT? 200

Have 2 240 Wagons - replaced the exhaust manifold - but it is the down-pipe from the flange thru the double tubing that always seems to reust own.

Many places have HIGH TEMP FLANGE PAINT to rust proof it - is this beneficial

Its a Stara Pipe.
