For Art - Any problems with the fuel line from McMaster-Carr?

Hi Art. And greetings from Seattle. In 2014, I followed your instructions and made myself a new fuel line. I used McMaster-Carr tubing and pretty sure it was the metric variety that you show as 50405k66 (however, I just looked at the invoice and it says 50405k26 which does not show on their site and so maybe was a mis-print). Anyhow, your procedure and all has worked great until yesterday (4/2020) when I smelled gas after a short drive from home. Turns out there is a small hole or crack in this line about 2-3 inches from the banjo fitting at the filter. I have no idea why this should be. I was wondering it you had experienced or heard of this hose failing? Or maybe it got damaged somehow during install or just over time. Trying to decide what to do. Thanks!
